Job Description
The Warehouse Associate will collaborate closely with other Warehouse Associates, Receiving Inspection, Branches and Planners to ensure material requirements are met accurately and on time.
Essential Functions
- Process, package, and ship orders accurately
- Organize stocks and maintain inventory
- Inspect products for defects and damages
- Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
- Organize warehouse space
- Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
- Check, verify and fill out customer invoices
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
- Might use material handling equipment to move parts and components from one work or storage area to another as required.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area.
- Frequent walking, bending, reaching and lifting required
- Assists other warehouse associates as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- At least one-year previous warehouse experience
- Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated good problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have experience of, or exposure to, a similar
- production/manufacturing environment.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and Suite
- Current forklift certification
- At least one year’s previous experience with hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
