About Skipper
Skipper is building the water transportation network for the future—bringing the convenience of rideshare to the waterways. Think Uber or Lyft, but for boats. We connect passengers with licensed captains for transportation, sightseeing, waterfront dining, private charters, scheduled rides, and small-package deliveries.
We're looking for professional captains to help launch our Maryland operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers between marinas, docks, restaurants, hotels, and waterfront communities.
- Operate your vessel professionally and in accordance with all U.S. Coast Guard regulations.
- Accept ride requests through the Skipper app.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and passenger-friendly vessel.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid U.S. Coast Guard Captain's License (OUPV/Six-Pack or higher).
- Commercially insured vessel that meets safety requirements (or access to an approved vessel).
- Excellent boating knowledge of Southern Maryland waterways.
- Professional appearance and communication skills.
