This individual must be able to work independently without direct supervision while staying on task with repairs and routine preventative maintenance schedules. The role requires frequent, real-time response to equipment-related issues to minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently.

What You’ll Do:
Operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of OE tire mounting equipment and production machinery
Assist with production line start-up, shut down, changeovers, and general operational support
Perform preventative maintenance on tire mounting machines, conveyors, and associated equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues
Perform minor to major repair of tire mounting and balancing equipment
Perform minor to major repair of forklifts and other material handling equipment
Minor to major repair of other facility equipment and building systems
Maintain accurate and up-to-date preventative maintenance records for all equipment and facility systems
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Identify and implement process or equipment improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
Perform other duties as assigned to support facility and team operations
What You Need:
Electrical knowledge and experience with:
120VAC – 480VAC; single and three-phase power
PLC systems
Industrial machine controls
Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience
Ability to effectively read and interpret:
Equipment manuals and technical documentation
Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
Mechanical drawings and machine prints
Ability to perform minor welding and fabrication as needed
Prior experience in tire, automotive, or manufacturing environment preferred
Positive attitude, self-motivated, and ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to work modified schedules as required to support production needs
Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds regularly; occasionally lift, push, or move 50 pounds
