POSITION: ReStore Warehouse Supervisor

Overview:
The ReStore Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the stocking of warehouse through acceptance of donations. Maintain stock and value donated goods as they are received by the ReStore from donor drop-offs and ReStore pick-up truck deliveries.
Basic Responsibilities:
Management and coordination of all activities as they relate to Habitat LI ReStore Warehouse.
· Pricing and Valuing Donations: Establish a pricing policy in order to develop a consistent pricing/markdown model. Collaborate with the Donations Coordinator and Inventory Manager to prepare for incoming donations by researching and establishing the appropriate selling price of donated items in advance of the receipt of goods for planned and large valued donations.
· Establish a simple method of categorizing and pricing lower valued miscellaneous items with the goal of controlling inventory and maximizing products available for sale.
· Identify and reduce inventory items which remain on the selling floor for 30+ days, 60+ days and 90 +days.
· Receiving Department: Coordinate with the donations coordinator to ensure goods are not released to the selling floor until properly priced, assembled and cleaned.
· Manage the receiving process ensuring that there is minimal time lapse between donation receipt and release to the sales floor without compromising inventory controls.
· Oversee ReStore repairs of appliances, furniture, or other donations.
· Maintain Warehouse floor and outside surrounding area.
· All other duties as required or necessary.
Requirements:
· Fully understand and be able to communicate the commitment to Habitat for Humanity’s ideals and philosophy and can work with all people with diverse backgrounds.
· This position requires not only strong organizational skills but must be able to handle tight time schedules, demanding customer focused environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
· The candidate must have excellent staff management, project management, written and verbal communication skills.
