Naz’s Halal is bringing the flavor of New York City to Wesley Chapel! We are a fast-growing, New York-based franchise that started as a single food truck in Queens and has expanded nationwide.

The Role
We are seeking energetic and reliable Shift/Team Leaders to join our new Wesley Chapel location. In this fast-paced environment, you will be the heart of our kitchen, ensuring every plate that goes out is fresh, delicious, and up to our high standards. As a shift leader, you will supervises staff members on a work shift, ensuring business operations run smoothly. Duties as a shift leader include delegating tasks to employees, overseeing departmental tasks and monitoring staff performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversight: Have full hands on oversight of the daily operation, including all team member duties and responsibilities.
- Inventory Management: Counting inventory, ordering goods per restaurant needs, minimizing and controlling wastage.
- Floor Management: Lead the shift, delegate tasks, rotate breaks, and ensure smooth transitions between the front and back of house.
- Customer Service: Address guest inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a welcoming, hospitable environment.
- Cash Handling: Count registers, verify safe drops, manage drawers, and balance daily sales at the start and end of the shift.
- Quality & Safety: Maintain strict compliance with health code regulations, food safety standards, and restaurant cleanliness.
- Staff Coaching: Assist with training new employees, provide ongoing feedback, and ensure the team follows company policies.
- Inventory & Ordering: Monitor stock levels, rotate products, and assist the general manager by counting or placing supply orders.
- Frequently lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds.

- Experience: Previous shift lead experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude.
