Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as QU POS to process customer orders accurately
- Manage food service customer orders from takeout to dine-in with professionalism and speed
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including kitchen equipment and dining areas
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with accuracy
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including fryers, grills, and food prep tools, ensuring food safety compliance at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food handling skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to upsell and engage positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining a clean workspace for health compliance
