Hair Stylist Assistant
I’m looking for a part-time Hair Stylist Assistant to help support my growing business in Coral Gables. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about hair and wants hands-on experience while working one-on-one with an experienced stylist specializing in precision cutting and lived-in color.
I’ve been a hairstylist for 24 years and specialize in precision cutting and lived-in color. Throughout my career, I’ve received advanced training in Boston and Beverly Hills, including education with Vidal Sassoon. I’m passionate about creating an exceptional client experience and enjoy mentoring assistants who are eager to learn, grow, and build a successful career in the beauty industry.
This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to learn. You’ll be an important part of creating a seamless experience for every client while developing valuable salon skills.
Responsabilities:
Shampoo and condition clients
Assist with blow-drying and styling
Prepare color formulas and keep the color bar organized
Set up and clean up for appointments
Maintain a clean, organized salon suite
Sanitize tools and follow all state sanitation guidelines
Help keep appointments running smoothly throughout the day
Assist with inventory and salon organization
Capture occasional behind-the-scenes photos and videos for social media
Qualifications:
Cosmetology license or currently enrolled in cosmetology school preferred
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Eagerness to learn and grow within the beauty industry
