Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day organization and operation of the Kalos Vacation Dwellings warehouse. This role primarily focuses on preparing and packing property supply bags, receiving and organizing inventory, restocking supplies, maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse, and assisting with the distribution of items to Nashville short term rental properties.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Essential Functions
Property Supply Preparation
- Prepare and pack supply bags for properties based on established checklists and property needs.
- Ensure all bags and supply orders are complete, accurate, and ready for distribution.
- Restock commonly used supplies and notify the Warehouse Lead when inventory is running low.
- Assist with preparing linens, supplies, and other property items as needed.
Inventory & Organization
- Receive incoming supplies, linens, and warehouse deliveries.
- Unpack, sort, label, and properly store incoming inventory.
- Maintain organized shelving, storage areas, and supply stations.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and audits.
- Help ensure inventory is stored in designated locations and easily accessible.
Warehouse Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Break down boxes, dispose of packaging materials, and keep work areas free of clutter.
- Assist with reorganizing warehouse areas as inventory and operational needs change.
- Follow established warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
Distribution & Operations Support
- Prepare supplies, linens, and other items for delivery to properties.
- Load and unload supplies as needed.
- Assist the Warehouse Lead and Operations team with property-related supply requests.
- Help ensure urgent or time-sensitive property needs are prepared accurately and efficiently.
Additional Responsibilities
- Communicate inventory shortages, damaged items, or supply issues to the Warehouse Lead.
- Assist with seasonal projects, warehouse projects, and operational needs as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the effective and efficient operation of Kalos Vacation Dwellings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, hospitality, housekeeping, or property management experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow checklists and established processes accurately.
- Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and organize warehouse supplies and equipment.
- Basic computer and technology skills preferred.
Working Conditions
- Work primarily in a warehouse setting.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
- Regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 75 pounds with assistance when appropriate.
- Regular use of ladders, carts, dollies, and other light warehouse equipment.
- Occasional use of approved warehouse equipment when properly trained.
- Some extended or adjusted hours may be required during high-volume periods or based on operational needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
