Tips are split evenly each shift among front of house staff, and on average tips bring the hourly earnings to $18.00-$24.00.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and assist them in purchasing desserts and placing orders at the counter
- Take accurate orders using Toast POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring quick and friendly service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation procedures throughout the service area
- Learn all menu items to be able to handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Manage food safety protocols by adhering to food safety management standards and procedures
- Support opening and closing duties, including setting up stations and restocking supplies
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service environment is strongly preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to follow sanitation procedures rigorously to maintain a clean environment
- Knowledge of POS systems or willingness to learn new technology quickly
- Understanding of food safety practices and food safety management standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting
- A proactive approach to teamwork and delivering excellent customer service
