Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Taylors, South Carolina area. As a Plant Health Care Technician, you will be responsible for assessing the health of trees and shrubs, applying treatments for pests and diseases, and ensuring proper nutrient management. This role includes customer interaction to provide insights and recommendations for plant health. You will work closely with a team to execute landscaping and plant health care strategies, maintaining the health and appearance of client landscapes.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients and provide clear guidance on plant care.
- Knowledge or experience in Forestry, Landscaping, and plant care practices to support tree, shrub, and landscape health.
- Ability to work patiently and attentively while addressing plant health needs and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with environmentally responsible practices in plant health care is beneficial.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift weights of up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- ISA Certified Arborist certification is a plus.
- SC Pesticide License is a plus.
