NDC Elevator Drives is a global specialist in the repair, service exchange, and supply of refurbished elevator drives. From our Dallas workshop, we provide world-class solutions to customers worldwide. With decades of expertise and a growing client base, we’re now seeking an Industrial Electronic Repair Technician to join our team.
The Electronic Repair Technician Role:
You’ll play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and testing electronic drives and equipment to ensure they meet the highest performance standards. This is a hands-on, technical role where precision, problem-solving, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities of the Electronic Repair Technician:
- Disassemble, clean, and repair drives and other electronic equipment
- Diagnose faults down to component level
- Perform component removal, soldering, and replacements (soldering is a daily requirement)
- Source and purchase electronic components as needed
- Test drives (up to 480VAC and 500+ amps), analyse results, and ensure performance reliability
- Support field service work when required
What We’re Looking For:
- Technical degree or 3+ years’ experience in industrial electronic repair
- Strong soldering and fault-finding skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work standing or seated for extended periods
- Confident communicator (written & verbal) with computer proficiency
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- Must pass drug, alcohol, background, and motor vehicle checks
