Shift: 4x10-Hour Day Shifts (Typically 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Weekend Rotation: Call Rotation (Approximately One Weekend Per Month)

MedOp Solutions is partnering with a leading cardiovascular program in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to hire an experienced Cath Lab Technician for a 13-week contract assignment. This opportunity allows you to work alongside an experienced team of interventional cardiologists, nurses, and cardiovascular specialists performing a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac catheterization experience, excellent technical skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while providing exceptional patient care during invasive cardiovascular procedures.

- Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
- Coronary angiography
- Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
- Peripheral vascular procedures
- Emergency STEMI cases
- Other diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms and specialized equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Maintain sterile technique throughout all procedures
- Prepare and position patients while ensuring safety and comfort
- Monitor patients during procedures and recognize changes in patient condition
- Accurately document procedures using EPIC
- Participate in scheduled on-call coverage for emergency procedures
- Float to affiliated facilities within the health system as needed
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Previous travel experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- RCIS or ARRT certification required
- EPIC experience required
- Strong knowledge of invasive cardiovascular procedures
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

- EMR: EPIC
- Department-specific orientation provided prior to independent assignment
- Unit workflow and equipment training included
- Four 10-hour day shifts per week
- Typical shift hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (may vary based on department needs)
- On-call responsibilities currently include:
- 1–2 weekday overnight call shifts per week
- One weekend call rotation per month (Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 6:00 AM)
- Holiday coverage provided through the on-call rotation as needed
- Floating may be required within the hospital or to affiliated facilities within approximately 40 miles based on staffing needs
