We are currently seeking a Child Psychologist to join our growing team.
Position Overview
The Child Psychologist will provide psychological services to children and adolescents and collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals as appropriate. Depending on the clinician’s areas of expertise and interest, the position may include psychotherapy, psychological/psychoeducational evaluations, parent consultation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
We are looking for a psychologist who is warm, professional, clinically strong, and comfortable working collaboratively with children and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychological services to children and adolescents.
- Conduct clinical interviews and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based interventions addressing emotional, behavioral, social, and developmental needs.
- Conduct psychological and/or psychoeducational evaluations, depending on training and experience.
- Provide parent consultation, psychoeducation, and recommendations to support progress outside of sessions.
- Collaborate with schools, educators, physicians, and other professionals when appropriate.
- Participate in interdisciplinary consultation with Tangerine clinicians and educational specialists.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with parents and caregivers.
- Maintain ethical, professional, and confidentiality standards in accordance with applicable regulations and professional guidelines.

Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, or a closely related field.
- Licensed psychologist in Puerto Rico
- Training and/ experience working with children and adolescents.
- Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and other professionals.
- Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills.
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based, and individualized care.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting psychological or psychoeducational evaluations.
- Experience working with ADHD, executive functioning, learning differences, anxiety, emotional regulation, social emotional learning, mindfulness, and behavioral concerns.
- Experience collaborating with schools and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience providing parent consultation and psychoeducation.
