Position Summary
Fast Track Specialties, LP is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to manage Division 10 Architectural Specialties projects from contract award through completion.
This position may be filled at either the Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager level, depending on the selected candidate’s commercial construction experience and ability to independently manage projects.
Division 10 experience is preferred but not required. We can train an experienced commercial construction professional on our products and scopes of work.
This is a full-time, 100% on-site position at our Houston office. Remote, hybrid, and work-from-home arrangements are not available.

Responsibilities
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirements.
- Prepare and manage submittals, shop drawings, samples, and RFIs.
- Procure materials and track approvals, lead times, and delivery requirements.
- Prepare change-order proposals and manage contract changes.
- Track project budgets, costs, billings, and financial performance.
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments.
- Communicate with general contractors, manufacturers, vendors, and internal team members.
- Provide installation requirements and needed dates to the Installation Coordinator.
- Attend occasional project meetings and jobsite visits.
- Manage punch-list items and support project closeout.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
- Exercise independent judgment and authorize project purchases and expenditures within established company limits.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of commercial construction project-management experience working for a commercial general contractor, subcontractor, or specialty contractor as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or in a similar office-based position.
- Experience reading commercial construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
- Experience with several of the following: Submittals and shop drawings, RFIs, Procurement, Change orders, Project budgets and cost tracking, & Customer billing
- Experience using commercial construction project-management or document-control software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
Residential-only, insurance/restoration, and non-construction project-management experience does not satisfy the commercial construction experience requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience independently managing commercial construction projects.
- Division 10 Architectural Specialties experience.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud Build, Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, QuickBooks, or Adobe Acrobat.
- Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Texas Accessibility Standards and ADA requirements.
- OSHA 30 certification.
Work Location and Schedule
- Houston, TX 77070
- 100% on-site
- Monday through Friday, regular office hours of 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
- Additional hours may be required based on workload and project deadlines.
- Candidates must be able to commute reliably or relocate before starting.
- Relocation assistance is not available.
- Occasional local travel is required. Employees use their personal vehicle and receive mileage reimbursement.
- An in-person interview at our Houston office is required for candidates who advance.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
