Manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor.

Fabricate wooden crates or boxes, using woodworking hand tools and powered tools. Read blueprints, shipping notices, and other specifications, and inspect product to determine size and shape of container, materials to be used, and types of supports and braces to be used.

Lay out dimensions on materials with ruler, measuring tape, and pencil.

Saw materials to size, using handsaws and powered saws.

Assemble materials, using nailing or stapling machine, screws, bolts, glue, and hand tools.

Place product in container, manually or using hoist.

Bolt heavy pieces to bottom of container or skid.

Wrap and pad product with packing material.

Build crates around large or oddshaped articles.

Wrap and tighten metal bands around crate, using banding equipment.

Attach identification labels or stencils containing such information as shipping destination, weight, and type of product contained on crate.

Cover equipment with neoprene or other protective covering to protect it during shipment.

Count items to be packed to ensure compliance with shipping orders.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Woodworking experience

Must be able to stand for entire shift
