Commissioning Engineer – Warehouse Automation

Job Description
We’re looking for experienced Commissioning Engineers to support large-scale industrial automation projects across the United States.
This is a field-based role focused on the startup, commissioning and troubleshooting of automated equipment and controls systems.
You don't need to be an advanced PLC programmer. We're particularly interested in engineers and technicians who are strong electrically, comfortable working with PLC-controlled equipment and experienced getting industrial systems operational onsite.
Responsibilities
- Commission automated equipment and controls systems onsite
- Troubleshoot electrical, PLC and field-device issues
- Perform I/O checks and system testing
- Work with Siemens S7 or TIA Portal
- Troubleshoot sensors, motors, VFDs and other field devices
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Support controls modifications and system upgrades
- Work alongside Controls Engineers and site commissioning teams
- Support system startup through customer handover
Requirements
- Industrial electrical, controls or automation experience
- Experience commissioning or troubleshooting automated equipment
- Exposure to Siemens PLC systems strongly preferred
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working in industrial environments
- Willingness to travel 60–80%
- Able to work approximately 50–60 hours per week
Experience within warehouse automation, manufacturing, automotive, oil & gas, food & beverage, packaging, process automation and other industrial environments will all be considered.
Pay: $50–$65/hr depending on experience.
