Join our dynamic team as an Expo/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help deliver an exceptional dining experience! In this vital role, you'll act as the bridge between the kitchen and the front of house, ensuring that food reaches guests promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, efficient atmosphere that keeps guests excited about every visit. This paid position (hourly + tip share) offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in food service, hospitality, and customer engagement while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with attention to many details simultaneously. Weekend availability is required. Training and ongoing coaching will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring presentation quality and accuracy; delivering dishes to specific seat positions as rang in by servers.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to meet quality standards.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate orders and special requests.
- Support food safety protocols by handling food properly, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to health regulations.
- Assist with basic kitchen duties, food handling tasks, & side work duties as directed by supervisors.
- Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to guest needs and ensuring their dining experience is memorable.
Experience
- Previous experience as Expo/Food Runner or similar is required.
- Familiarity with food handling, food safety standards, proper sanitation procedures enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Experience using Toast KDS touch screen is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for interacting effectively with guests and team members.
- Must have keen attention to detail in high volume, fast-paced setting
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
