This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing nutritious meals while being part of a fun, family-oriented environment.

Monday–Friday | 8:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
Includes a daily lunch break
What You'll Do
- Prepare and serve nutritious morning snacks, lunches, and afternoon snacks for children.
- Work alongside our Kitchen Assistant to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
- Plan monthly menus, order food and supplies, and complete grocery shopping as needed.
- Ensure all USDA/CACFP meal guidelines are followed and properly documented.
- Maintain compliance with Health Department regulations and safe food handling practices.
- Deliver meals each day to our SMLC location using our mini bus (approximately a 10-minute drive).
- Collaborate with our teaching team to create a positive and enjoyable mealtime experience for children.
What We're Looking For
- Someone who enjoys cooking and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage daily kitchen operations while working as a team with the Kitchen Assistant.
- Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen or restaurant is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
- Willing to obtain a ServSafe Food Manager Certification (required).
- Willing to complete USDA/CACFP Child Nutrition Program training.
- Comfortable driving our mini bus to deliver meals between our two locations (training provided).
- A positive attitude and a heart for serving children!
