We are seeking energetic and personable Bartenders to join our vibrant hospitality team! Must have at least one year prior bartending experience, two years total industry experience. Must have experience in fast-paced and high volume. We are gearing up for a very busy summer, with the World Cup.
In this role, you will craft exceptional drinks, deliver outstanding customer service, and create memorable experiences for our guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a lively atmosphere, whether in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about the food and beverage industry, possesses excellent time management skills, and thrives in fast-paced, dynamic settings. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems (Union).
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change.
- Monitor alcohol consumption and adhere to responsible serving policies, including checking IDs and enforcing legal drinking age.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages regularly to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or casual dining; retail math skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events like catering functions.
