Tropical Beach Services LLC is seeking reliable, hardworking, and physically capable individuals to assist with the daily setup and breakdown of beach equipment at nine (9) resort locations on Siesta Key.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up and break down beach equipment, including cabanas, shade tents, umbrellas, and lounge chairs.
- Pick up, stack, secure, and organize beach chairs and other equipment at the end of each day.
- Arrange equipment according to resort guidelines, guest reservations, and company procedures.
- Inspect equipment and report any damage, safety concerns, or maintenance issues.
- Keep beach equipment and work areas clean, organized, and presentable.
- Assist guests when needed and provide professional, courteous service.
- Follow all company safety procedures and instructions.
- Work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining a consistent pace throughout the workday.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform physically demanding and labor-intensive work on a daily basis.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in direct sunlight, heat, humidity, sand, and varying beach conditions.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, stack, move, and set up beach equipment.
- Must have a working cell phone and be reachable when required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from assigned resort locations.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to report to work as scheduled.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as with other team members.
Important Job Expectations
This position involves continuous outdoor activity and physical labor in beach conditions. Employees should be prepared to work in hot temperatures, direct sun, sand, wind, and humidity for extended periods.
This is an active, hands-on position and is not a sedentary job. Employees must be physically capable of performing the required duties safely and efficiently throughout their shift.
Dependability, attendance, work ethic, and the ability to perform the required job duties are essential requirements of this position.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
