Description:
Are you someone who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? Rustic Bakery is looking for a dependable, hardworking Porter to help keep our production environment clean, safe, and organized — 8 AM to 4:30 PM, overtime required, including Saturdays. The position is full-time for approximately 6 months.
What You'll Do

Monitor and proactively address cleanliness in production, packaging, and warehouse areas throughout the facility

Perform general housekeeping across all assigned areas, including the back parking area

Assist with organizing equipment, working tools, and ingredients as needed

Ensure trash and recycling are disposed of properly

Restock and organize PPE on the production floor

Perform janitorial services, building maintenance, and light landscaping tasks

Report damaged equipment to the maintenance and leadership team

Fill in as a supporting team member on Production, Packaging, or Sanitation crews as needed

Follow all company safety programs, GMP guidelines, and sanitary production standards

Communicate effectively with teams to ensure smooth collaboration throughout every task

Perform other related duties as assigned by plant leadership
What We're Looking For

Ability to work on your feet in a fast-moving production environment

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities throughout the shift

Experience in food manufacturing, sanitation, or a production environment is a plus but not required

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Knowledge of GMP and food safety standards is a plus
