Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced nightclub environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience. As a Bar Support(Barback), you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, assisting with inventory management, and providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Restock liquor, wine, beer, mixers, ice and garnishes during service.
- Clean and sanitize glassware and bar tools throughout the shift.
- Support bartenders in maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with opening/closing duties and general bar upkeep.
- Respond quickly to bar needs and anticipate supply shortages
- Must be able to learn cocktails prep and cocktail menu.
Soft skills and Teamwork:
- Reliable, fast-paced, and team focused.
- Strong awareness and anticipation of team needs.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
Requirements :
- Louisiana Responsible Vendor (RV) Server Permit (Bar Card): Required if handling or serving alcohol.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long period of time.
- Knowledge of bartending practices is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous.
