American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii.

Acute care hospital setting in Hilo, Hawaii
-
CT Scan department performing diagnostic and vascular imaging
-
Routine CT scans performed per radiologist protocols, with a plus for experience in vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke cases
-
Advanced procedures such as biopsies, drainages, MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging are a plus
-
Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation preferred
-
Meditech EMR experience preferred

10-hour varied shifts with no call required

13-week contract

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute hospital CT setting

Current ARRT(CT) certification required

Current BLS/BCLS certification required

Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment — license required if applicable

Ability to function independently without supervision

Venipuncture experience a plus

Experience with vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, stroke, or interventional procedures (biopsies, drainages) a plus

Perform routine CT scans per radiologist protocols, including MIP, MPR, and 3D reconstructions

Candidates not currently holding an active Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license must apply for one upon acceptance of an offer

Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical or religious exemption is required prior to contract start; flu vaccination may be administered at the employee health clearance appointment

All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of their assignment; this appointment takes place at the Hilo Employee Health office and attendance is mandatory

Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before their Monday start date to complete the Employee Health appointment on Friday morning
