We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care across various settings. This position requires a strong commitment to patient service and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Location: Rotation between two locations. Addison 75254 and Dallas 75243
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Assist healthcare providers in completion of healthcare related forms.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and documenting medical histories.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Perform routine blood draws.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical coding and terminology standards.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, educating patients on treatment plans, and ensuring a comfortable experience.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in both clinic and inpatient settings to enhance patient care delivery.
- Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to patient care.
- Proficiency in coding practices for accurate documentation and billing.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and empathy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. Experience with eCW is preferred but not mandatory.
