Part-Time Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician
Pacific Coast Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with 1–2 years of experience to join our growing team. Our practice is built on collaboration, quality medicine, and a supportive work environment where every team member plays an important role in delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Title: Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician (Part-Time)

Schedule:
Part-time hours (schedule to be discussed during the interview)
9-hour shifts may be available depending on hospital needs
Occasional overtime may be required with supervisor approval and will be compensated in accordance with California law and Hospital policy
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital as a Veterinary Assistant or RVT
Proficient in:
- Blood draws
- Radiology
- Catheter placement
- Anesthesia monitoring
- In-house laboratory testing (IDEXX)
- Safe patient restraint techniques
- Experience with EzyVet is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Passion for providing exceptional patient care and client service
