Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests in a genuine, enthusiastic, and timely manner to understand their needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge to guide guests in selecting cakes, pastries, and beverages — highlighting flavor profiles, seasonal offerings, and portion options.
- Promote and upsell complementary products and retail merchandise to enhance guest satisfaction and increase average ticket value.
- Communicate current promotions and encourage guests to follow us on social media and join our loyalty program.
- Process all transactions efficiently and accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain an inviting store environment by keeping displays, counters, and floors clean and organized throughout the day.
- Ensure adherence to health, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
- Support team members and supervisors with additional operational tasks as needed.
- Uphold Anton’s brand image and service philosophy in every guest interaction.
Sales-Focused Responsibilities
- Proactively suggest product pairings and limited-time offerings to drive incremental sales.
- Apply learned sales techniques to strengthen guest engagement and conversion.
- Track customer feedback and trends to inform future offerings and service improvements.
- Contribute to achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets through teamwork and accountability.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail sales or customer service required.
- High energy with excellent interpersonal and communication skills — friendly, engaging, and professional.
- Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Comfortable with technology and confident using POS systems.
- Strong multitasking, organization, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and product counts.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform light cleaning or restocking tasks.
