About Us
Clinique Molière is a 5,000 sq ft freestanding birth center and women's health clinic in the heart of Brea, offering midwifery care, prenatal and postpartum support, well-woman services, home birth, and integrative wellness including acupuncture, chiropractic, yoga, and herbal care. We're a growing practice building a warm, client-centered team where birthing families and all women feel safe, supported, and respected. This is a rare opportunity to grow alongside the clinic and expand your clinical skills in the process.
What You'll Do
- Assist our midwives during labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period, both at the center and at home births
- Prepare and clean birth rooms, birthing tubs, instruments, and equipment before and after each birth
- Monitor and record maternal vital signs and fetal heart tones under midwife direction
- Provide hands-on labor support and reassurance to clients and their families
- Assist with newborn care, initial newborn assessments, and postpartum recovery
- Stock, restock, sterilize, and manage clinical supplies
Expanded Clinical Role (We'll Train You)
- Learn to administer subcutaneous (SQ) and intramuscular (IM) medications under midwife supervision
- Develop skills in medication prep, documentation, and safe handling
- Assist with medication administration — we're happy to train the right candidate who's eager to learn
Front Desk / Reception (As Needed)
- Cover the front desk when needed: greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling, and check-in/check-out
- Support intake paperwork and basic charting
- Help keep the clinic running smoothly across both clinical and administrative needs
What We're Looking For
- Current BLS/CPR certification (NRP strongly preferred or willing to obtain)
- Background as a CNA, medical assistant, doula, EMT, student midwife, or nursing student is a plus — but we're open to training motivated candidates
- Comfortable with the physical realities of birth (blood, bodily fluids, long hours)
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts — births don't follow a schedule
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to work
- Calm, compassionate, and dependable under pressure
- Team player who's comfortable wearing multiple hats in a growing practice
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a birth center, L&D unit, or home birth setting
- Prior experience administering injections or handling medications
- Front desk or medical reception experience
- Bilingual (Spanish or other languages)
- Interest in pursuing midwifery or nursing as a career path

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
