Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Perform thorough decontamination of used surgical instruments and medical equipment using approved sterilization techniques.
- Inspect, assemble, and package medical instruments ensuring all items meet strict sterilization and safety standards.
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and other specialized devices with precision.
- Manage inventory levels of sterile supplies, ensuring accurate tracking, restocking, and documentation of all processed items.
- Adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols and aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
- Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance procedures.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for upcoming procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sterile processing or a related healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to surgical instruments and procedures.
- Familiarity with medical equipment sterilization methods and infection prevention management practices.
- Ability to operate sterilization machinery safely and efficiently while following strict protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on inventory management and recordkeeping accuracy.
- Understanding of aseptic technique principles and healthcare infection prevention standards.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour
