The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs a variety of patient care activities and related non-professional duties necessary in caring for the dialysis patient.
Some of the job duties consists of:
- Prepares equipment needed for treatment of dialysis patients
- Obtains weights and vital signs on patients in order to assist the RN with assessment
- Monitors patient progress and performs intra-dialytic care.
- Discontinues treatment and performs post-dialytic care
- Contributes to a positive work environment
- Maintains a safe environment for patients and staff
- Demonstrates proficiency in the code arrest procedure

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
