Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential units, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces to uphold high cleanliness standards
- Maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, fitness centers, and outdoor spaces through regular cleaning and floor care
- Conduct detailed sanitation of kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring all fixtures and appliances are hygienic and in excellent condition
- Manage laundry services for residents by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently
- Execute carpet cleaning and upholstery maintenance to preserve the appearance and longevity of flooring and furniture
- Follow proper janitorial procedures for waste disposal, restroom sanitation, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces to promote health safety
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventorying cleaning supplies and coordinating schedules to optimize workflow
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
- Skilled in various cleaning techniques including floor care (mopping, waxing), carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry operations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
- Knowledge of janitorial equipment operation and maintenance is preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods and working in different weather conditions when necessary
- Experience with housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required
- Certification or training in sanitation standards or hospitality services can be advantageous
