Refrigeration Service Technician — Transition from PM to Service Work
Location: Orange County / San Diego
Candidate will need to live in North county(San Diego) or Mid to south Orange County
Pay: $26–$35/hr DOE, with clear growth path to $40+
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday with rotating on-call

Eastside Service HVAC/R Inc. is a commercial refrigeration company serving restaurants across LA, Orange County and San Diego. We’re a small, professional team focused on doing the work right the first time. We’re hiring one PM technician ready to take the next step into full service tech work.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re specifically looking for someone with restaurant refrigeration maintenance experience who’s ready to move into service work. If you’ve been doing PM rounds at restaurants — cleaning condenser coils, replacing belts and filters, descaling ice machines, servicing walk-ins — and you’re ready to learn diagnostics and repair, this is your opportunity.
Requirements:
- EPA 608 (Type 1 or 2 acceptable; Universal preferred)
- 2+ years of restaurant or commercial refrigeration maintenance experience
- Comfortable working in commercial kitchen environments
- Clean driving record (you’ll have a take-home truck)
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn diagnostics
- Reliable, professional, and able to communicate well with kitchen staff and managers
