What You'll Do
- Consultative Design: Discover guest needs and solve their design challenges by expertly guiding them through custom wood, finish, and upholstery selections.
- Order Integrity: Audit and finalize all custom order specifications. You ensure what the customer dreams of is exactly what gets sent to the manufacturer.
- Pipeline & Follow-Up: Build long-term relationships by proactively managing your leads and keeping clients informed throughout the custom build process.
- Showroom Pride: Maintain elite aesthetic and pricing standards on the showroom floor so it is always client-ready.
- Team Collaboration: Partner closely with your in-store team and the Operations team to ensure a seamless transition from the final sale to home delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years in high-end retail, consultative sales, or interior design. (High school diploma or equivalent required).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills with a focus on "raving fan" service, including the ability to clearly explain complex custom options and lead times.
- Precision & Detail: A proven track record of managing complex tasks with high accuracy, specifically when entering technical codes for materials and finishes.
- System Savvy: Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and able to learn and navigate our in-store POS system to manage client orders.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to actively walk and stand on the furniture showroom floor for extended periods to engage with visiting guests.
