Commercial Brokers International (CBI) is seeking an experienced Managing Broker to lead our Los Angeles office.

Key Responsibilities:
Brokerage Leadership
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Los Angeles office.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to commercial real estate agents.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and collaboration.
- Serve as the primary leadership resource for agents and staff.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all brokerage activities comply with California licensing laws, fair housing regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee transaction compliance, documentation, and recordkeeping.
- Monitor proper handling of trust funds and transaction files.
- Identify and resolve compliance issues before they become problems.
Transaction Oversight
- Review transactions for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Assist agents in navigating complex transactions and negotiations.
- Resolve client concerns and agent disputes professionally, escalating matters when appropriate.
- Help maintain a smooth and efficient transaction process from contract to closing.
Recruiting & Business Growth
A key responsibility of this role is helping grow our brokerage by recruiting experienced commercial real estate professionals who share our values.

Qualifications
- Active California real estate license in good standing
- Commercial real estate brokerage experience
- Experience managing brokerage operations, transaction oversight, or supervising agents
- Strong understanding of California real estate law, licensing requirements, and fair housing regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong organizational and operational management abilities
- A builder's mindset with the ability to wear multiple hats in a growing organization
