Responsibilities:

Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to ensure machines are operating at their peak performance.

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Interpret schematics and technical drawings to perform equipment repairs effectively.
-
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required and troubleshoot malfunctions to identify and rectify issues.
-
Assist in the development and implementation of ISO standards within the manufacturing environment.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting modifications to equipment to improve safety, quality, and machine operation.

Work collaboratively with team members to enhance overall productivity and ensure maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the Engineering or Manufacturing industry.

Proven experience as a maintenance technician with a strong understanding of industrial machines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Familiarity with mechanical components such as pumps, motors, bearings, and gears.

Proficiency in interpreting and working from schematics and technical drawings.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.

Knowledge and experience with ISO standards in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to machine maintenance and repair.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Able to work on multiple shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

A relevant certification or degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
