As a Mason Laborer, you will support skilled masons by preparing materials, loading and unloading tools, and assisting with various masonry tasks cleaning up the jobsite
Construction experience a must ,will train the right individual in the masonry aspect
Duties
- Dig rake and wheel barrow various materials for site prep
- Assist with the installation of rebar and reinforcement materials to ensure structural integrity
- Prepare and organize building materials such as bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and mortar for ongoing projects
- Support masons in laying bricks, stones, and concrete units following blueprint specifications and technical drawings
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut wood and masonry (Demo saw, Jack hammer)
- Help with concrete finishing tasks including pouring, leveling, and smoothing surfaces for walls, floors, or other structures
- Follow safety procedures diligently during all phases of construction to maintain a secure work environment
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience or familiarity with masonry work is highly preferred
- Able to read a level and tape measure
- Long days and some very early mornings
- Hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete forming and placing, Pavers, Drainage, asphalt
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently on construction sites Demo Saw, Jack Hammer
- Experience with stone masonry, brick, Block, mortar, and concrete materials
- Will train the right candidate in the masonry field but they must have some construction experience
- Physical stamina, Wheel barrowing shovel, pick, rake lift heavy materials safely, and perform demanding manual tasks in various weather conditions

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
