Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee landscape Design Build projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for landscape design and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their vision is realized and their needs are met throughout the project.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, including sales, design, production, and subcontractors.
- Site Management: Oversee daily operations on job sites, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards.
- Scheduling: Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and completion of projects.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential project challenges and develop effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Reporting: Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including clients and company leadership, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Project management experience in the landscape design build industry is preferred. Alternatively, 5+ years of experience as a landscape construction foreman may be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of landscape design principles and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication abilities in both languages preferred.
- Proficient in business management/project management software and Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP certification or similar project management credentials is a plus.
