We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team and help bring the 40 Love experience to life.
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who is passionate about service excellence, team development, and creating exceptional guest experiences. The right candidate will lead by example, inspire their team, and thrive in a high-energy environment where attention to detail and genuine hospitality matter.
POSITION SUMMARY
As Restaurant Manager, you will take a hands-on leadership role in the dining room, championing our service standards and developing a team committed to delivering warm, polished, and knowledgeable hospitality.
From the moment guests arrive until their final goodbye, you will help shape every aspect of the guest experience while overseeing daily operations, team performance, training, and service execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESService Leadership & Execution
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor and anticipate guest needs
- Ensure seamless, polished, and efficient service throughout every shift
- Lead pre-shift meetings covering service standards, menu updates, and daily priorities
- Act as a leader in guest recovery and service enhancement
- Set the standard for professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail
Training & Team Development
- Develop and implement structured onboarding and service training programs
- Provide ongoing education focused on menu knowledge, hospitality, wine, and service standards
- Coach team members through regular feedback and hands-on development
- Build a culture centered around accountability, professionalism, and continuous growth
Team Management
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise servers and server assistants
- Build and maintain a positive, respectful, team-oriented culture
- Monitor performance and provide consistent coaching
- Conduct performance evaluations and proactively address staffing needs
- Lead by example and maintain high standards throughout the team
Operational Excellence
- Partner closely with culinary and beverage leadership to ensure smooth service
- Maintain strong communication between front and back of house
- Ensure cleanliness, ambiance, and dining room standards are consistently maintained
- Oversee reservations, table management, and guest flow
- Ensure the team has the product knowledge necessary to confidently guide guests
Administrative & Compliance
- Monitor labor costs and staffing levels
- Assist with inventory management and shift reporting
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations
- Help develop and implement service policies, SOPs, and guest experience standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in fine dining or an upscale Modern American concept
- Proven experience developing teams and leading service training
- Strong knowledge of wine and beverage service, including pairings and tableside etiquette
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to connect with both guests and team members
- Hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for hospitality
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
- Experience with POS and reservation systems such as Aloha, SevenRooms, and HotSchedules is a plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
