By leveraging the expertise of the Children’s Specialized Hospital Autism Center of Excellence, the program aims to expand access to innovative and compassionate care, empowering children diagnosed with autism to thrive. Children’s Specialized ABA offers home-based, community-based, and center-based ABA therapy.

Join Us as our People Engagement Ambassador
The People Experience Ambassador supports employee engagement, retention, and workplace experience initiatives across assigned centers and in the community. This role focuses on building positive relationships with employees through proactive outreach, engagement support, feedback collection, and retention-focused communication. The People Experience Ambassador partners with leadership teams to identify engagement
What You'll Do:
Monitor new-hire survey responses and conduct appropriate follow-up outreach to support positive people experiences.
Review Behavior Technician engagement data to identify trends and opportunities for proactive support.
Conduct outreach through calls, texts, and emails to BT employees demonstrating signs of disengagement to provide support, gather feedback, and strengthen connection to the organization.
Utilize structured questions to identify trends related to engagement, scheduling, supervision, and workplace satisfaction.
Conduct check-in calls with employees experiencing attendance challenges or increased cancellations, utilizing active listening and problem-solving techniques to provide support and encourage engagement.[KK1]
Document outreach efforts, concerns, and follow-up actions in designated tracking systems.
Maintain organized records of outreach activity, retention efforts, and engagement feedback.
Escalate urgent employee concerns or high-risk retention matters to the Director of People Experience & Engagement or appropriate leadership.
Assist with preparing reports and summaries related to employee engagement and retention trends.
Support retention-focused outreach and engagement initiatives as assigned.
Retention Insights & Exit Feedback
Conduct exit outreach calls with separating Behavior Technicians to gather feedback, understand reasons for separation, and identify potential retention opportunities when appropriate.
Accurately document and summarize exit feedback to support retention improvement efforts.
Partner with leadership teams as needed to support employee follow-up and retention initiatives.
Partner with ABA therapists, Operations Managers, Clinical Directors, Care Coordinators and center leadership to support employee engagement and workplace experience initiatives.
Build positive relationships with employees to encourage communication, engagement, and understanding of CS ABA values.
Support center-level/community engagement efforts by identifying trends, gathering feedback, and assisting leadership with engagement action plans.
Support organizational goals, policies, and initiatives designed to improve employee experience and workplace culture.
Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to support positive employee interactions and workplace experiences.
Support workplace culture and employee engagement programs focused on fostering a positive work environment.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
What You'll Need
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional, administrative, customer service, or HR-related role.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to conduct phone outreach professionally and empathetically.
Comfortable conducting supportive and professional conversations with employees regarding attendance concerns, engagement challenges, and exit feedback.
Demonstrated ability to follow structured processes and complete high-volume outreach tasks consistently.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accurate documentation of interactions and data.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or similar systems; ability to track and manage data.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
Self-motivated and able to work independently , task-driven role.
This role requires consistent local travel between centers to support employee engagement and workplace experience efforts
Work Location & Hours:
This is a full-time opportunity on a hybrid work schedule that can be in any of our NJ EI Centers - Voorhees, Newark, Clifton, Clark, Princeton, Jackson. The core hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm.

Reasonable Pay Estimate
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $24.00-$26.00 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and experience equity.
