Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Driving
- Operate company vehicles requiring a CDL Class A license to transport materials, equipment, and signage to and from job sites.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of products according to project schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance.
- Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transportation.
Installation Execution
- Assist with the installation of architectural signage according to drawings and specifications.
- Perform job site preparation, including measuring, leveling, drilling, mounting, and securing materials.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
- Support basic electrical connections and wiring related to signage installations.
Project Support
- Follow schedules and instructions provided by the Installer Manager or team lead.
- Review basic drawings and installation plans prior to execution.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and organization.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure installations meet company quality standards and client expectations.
- Identify and report any defects, installation issues, or discrepancies.
- Make adjustments as necessary to deliver a clean, finished product.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to DOT regulations related to CDL driving.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with supervisors and installation crew members.
- Communicate effectively regarding job progress, site conditions, and challenges.
- Support team goals to meet deadlines and deliver projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience in driving, installation, construction, or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and installation instructions.
- Clean driving record preferred.
