Hours:
Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
OT available on Fridays
What You’ll Do
As a Welding Tech, you’ll bring technical skill and ownership to our fabrication team. You will:
- Perform precision TIG and MIG welding on aluminum and steel components ranging from .040 to .1875
➤ Thin-gauge TIG aluminum proficiency is a MUST
- Interpret and apply blueprint requirements and weld symbols (testing required)
- Review job travelers, documentation packages, and process notes
- Select correct fixtures, welding consumables, and filler materials
- Execute weld prep, joint conditioning, fit-ups, and proper part handling
- Set up and operate welding equipment to tight tolerances
- Maintain strict adherence to quality standards and inspection checks
- Keep your workspace organized, safe, and clean at all times
- Participate in preventive maintenance and help refine work instructions
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and leadership teams
- Cross-train in related production areas to support team flexibility
- Communicate respectfully, effectively, and professionally every day

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years TIG Welding (Required)
- Competent in MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless, and aluminum
- Strong blueprint reading and weld symbol comprehension
- Able to use precision measurement tools (calipers, height gages, etc.)
- Comfortable navigating welding specifications and process documentation
- Reliable, organized, goal-oriented, and detail-driven
- Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to learn and cross-train
- Desire to expand skills into Co-Bot welding and laser welding technologies
- Must adhere to company safety and quality standards
- Consistent documentation and follow-through habits
Preferred Experience
- Aerospace or high-precision welding background
- Experience contributing to or improving weld procedures
- Familiarity with digital work instructions or modern shop-floor tech
- Proven ability to work autonomously while supporting team success
