Hyde Park Assisted Living is seeking compassionate and dependable Part-Time Resident Care Specialists for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. If you are passionate about providing high-quality care and building meaningful relationships with seniors, we’d love to have you on our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance and support with transfers
- Monitor residents and report any changes in condition
- Assist with meals and hydration
- Provide medication reminders per community guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in caregiving, nursing home, or home care is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and basic medical procedures is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move residents using proper techniques.
- Understanding of dementia care principles and techniques is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
