Project Description
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer, with a specific focus on M365, to play a key role in managing and advancing our client's virtual, cloud, and data center infrastructure. This position is responsible for maintaining critical systems that support business operations 24/7/365 while helping lead cloud migration efforts and infrastructure modernization initiatives. This role has a strong focus on Entra/M365 and requires experience in conditional access, CIS/SCuBA compliance, Intune, and hybrid join. This position includes a rotating on-call shift (1 week every 5 weeks).
Key Responsibilities

Manage and advance virtual, cloud, and data center infrastructure supporting 24/7/365 operations

Lead and support cloud migration efforts and infrastructure modernization initiatives

Administer Entra/M365 environments, including conditional access, CIS/SCuBA compliance, Intune, and hybrid join

Administer VMware environments, blade systems, and SAN technologies

Manage Microsoft Windows Server administration and patch management

Support Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure, and AWS environments

Manage virtual desktop infrastructure and enterprise monitoring platforms

Support data center operations, infrastructure management, and disaster recovery practices

Follow configuration management and change control processes

Participate in rotating on-call shift (1 week every 5 weeks)
Mandatory Skills

7+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in a 24x7 environment

Strong experience with Entra/M365, including conditional access, CIS/SCuBA compliance, Intune, and hybrid join

Extensive experience administering VMware environments, blade systems, and SAN technologies

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration and patch management

Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure, and AWS environments

Experience managing virtual desktop infrastructure and enterprise monitoring platforms

Knowledge of data center operations, infrastructure management, and disaster recovery practices

Strong troubleshooting skills across server, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies

Proficiency with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
