Location
This is an in-person role based out of our Riverside and Los Angeles offices, with travel throughout Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties as needed.

Job Description
- Represent clients in immigration defense matters, including removal defense, asylum, family-based immigration, waivers, U and T visas, citizenship, appeals, and related proceedings
- Appear in immigration court and assist with matters involving state court proceedings connected to SIJS cases
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, briefs, filings, declarations, and supporting legal documents
- Work directly with clients, attorneys, and support staff to prepare strong, organized, and timely case materials
- Manage multiple cases and deadlines while maintaining clear communication and strong attention to detail
- Assist with bond procedures, criminal immigration issues, writs, TROs, and federal court matters when applicable
- Travel throughout Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties as needed for hearings, client matters, and court appearances
- Contribute to a collaborative, client-focused team committed to high-quality immigration defense work
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in good standing with any U.S. state bar
- California Bar admission preferred
- Spanish fluency required
- 2+ years of immigration court or immigration defense experience preferred
- Strong legal writing, research, analytical, speaking, and advocacy skills
- Strong time management and project management skills
- Ability to balance multiple cases, priorities, deadlines, and client needs
- Experience with SIJS, bond procedures, criminal immigration, writs, or TROs is a plus
- Passion for immigration defense and client advocacy
