Experienced Two's Teacher | Childcare / Daycare (Ages 6 weeks to 2 years old)
Location: Staten Island, NY
Pay: $20 to $24 per hour (or based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, 8 to 5 or 9 to 6
The Learning Experience® – Staten Island, NY is hiring an experienced infant/toddler teacher for our 6 weeks to 12 month and 1-2 year old classrooms. Join our growing childcare center in Staten Island, New York and make a meaningful impact in early childhood education.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support a preschool or daycare classroom for ages 2 to 5
- Implement our L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a childcare setting
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Build strong relationships with children and families
- Collaborate with staff to support enrollment and engagement goals
- Ensure the safety, supervision, and development of every child
What You’ll Bring
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or on a Study Plan toward a Bachelor’s degree
- Prior childcare, and daycare experience required
- Strong understanding of early childhood education and development
- Ability to manage classroom routines and meet children’s daily needs
- Professional, patient, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively supervise children
