THERMOFORMER OPERATOR
Monday - Thursday
5:00 pm - 5:30 am, mandatory overtime as needed
Train on 1st shift
5:00 am - 5:30 pm
$22.58 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Programs, or manually controls, forming procedure in vacuum forming various sized acrylic sheets, including oven temperature, oven time, and vacuum pressure
- Aligns and positions proper forming rack and framing as required
- Transports acrylic sheets to holding fixtures online
- Cleans and prepares tooling and acrylic sheets for vacuum forming
- Aligns and positions aluminum tooling
- Transports aluminum tooling to and from the storage rack to the thermoformer
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks daily
- Practice and follow all required safety regulations
- Records and serializes pieces formed daily
- Maintains work area, e.g., cleans up, keeps material, equipment, etc. in clean working condition
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervision
- Hot work environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to undergo further in-house technical training
- Must have the ability to operate equipment with controls and settings, and typical manufacturing equipment, including forklifts
- Must know common materials and production methods
- Computer skills required
