Engraving Machine Operator / Personalization Specialist
Salisbury, Inc. is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented engraver to join our team full-time at our factory in Easton, Maryland.
The engraver will personalize our pewter, sterling silver and other giftware using traditional engraving machines and laser-engraving equipment. This position requires accuracy, patience and careful attention to spelling, monogram placement and product quality.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up and operate engraving equipment
- Engrave names, dates, monograms, logos and custom messages
- Review customer orders carefully for accuracy
- Select the correct lettering style, size and placement
- Inspect finished products to ensure high-quality results
- Handle merchandise carefully throughout the engraving process
- Keep engraving equipment and the work area clean and organized
- Work with our production and customer-service teams to complete orders on schedule
Qualifications:
- Previous engraving, laser, CNC, jewelry, printing or machine-operation experience is preferred
- Training may be available for the right candidate
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong spelling and proofreading skills
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Comfortable using computers and learning new equipment
- Able to manage multiple orders and meet production deadlines
This is a full-time, in-person position at our Salisbury, Inc. factory in Easton, Maryland.
