We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Duties
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, processing customer transactions with attention to detail.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products or services that may benefit the customer.
- Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor by restocking merchandise as needed and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about products, services, and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the store and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and ensure accuracy in cash handling.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Strong phone etiquette skills to handle customer calls effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not necessary, enhancing communication with diverse customer backgrounds.
- A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products to increase sales.
- Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain a tidy work environment.
