Bilingual Mental Health Clinician (Fee-for-Service) – In-Person

New Vision of Life is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and bilingual (English/Spanish) clinician to join our growing private practice as a Fee-for-Service (1099 Independent Contractor).

Position Overview
- Fee-for-Service (1099 Independent Contractor)
- Minimum caseload of 10 clients per week
- Primarily in-person services with opportunities to provide telehealth services
- Flexible scheduling
- Administrative support for scheduling and referrals

Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (preferred).
- Active Massachusetts license or license-eligible (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Clinicians working toward independent licensure are encouraged to apply if they are receiving approved clinical supervision.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, documentation, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive initial diagnostic assessments, including formulation of DSM-5 diagnoses.
- Provide ongoing individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy based on client needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and update them at least quarterly, identifying measurable treatment goals, objectives, and anticipated target dates for achievement.
- Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and within agency timeframes.
- Maintain case records to the highest professional standards, including:
- Intake documentation
- Biopsychosocial assessments
- Initial and ongoing treatment plans
- Progress notes
- Discharge summaries
- Make appropriate referrals for psychiatric services, higher levels of care, community resources, or specialized treatment when clinically indicated.
- Collaborate with referral sources and multidisciplinary providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Seek consultation and clinical guidance from supervisors and team members regarding complex or difficult-to-treat cases.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with state licensing regulations and HIPAA requirements.
- Manage and maintain a minimum caseload of 10 clients per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families.
- Experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, grief, or relationship issues.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
