The Seasonal Dispatch Coordinator supports warehouse and transportation operations by coordinating shipments, processing documentation, communicating with drivers and carriers, and maintaining accurate records to ensure efficient freight movement.
- Process inbound and outbound shipment records.
- Coordinate driver check-in/check-out and dock assignments.
- Verify shipping and receiving documentation.
- Maintain accurate data entry and inventory records.
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and operations teams.
- Assist with transportation inquiries and documentation issues.
- Support daily administrative tasks and reporting.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or administrative support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong communication, organization, and data entry skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred: Experience with WMS/TMS systems and high-volume distribution or transportation operations.
