As a Licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler and water-based fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA standards, ensuring our customers' systems are code-compliant and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities

Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA 25 and applicable codes.

Accurately document inspection results and prepare detailed reports for customers.

Identify system deficiencies and communicate recommended corrective actions.

Interact professionally with customers, building owners, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).

Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working order.

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures on every job site.
Qualifications

Valid State of Maine Fire Sprinkler Inspector license required.

NICET certification in Water-Based Systems Layout or Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems preferred.

Working knowledge of NFPA 25 and related fire protection codes and standards.

Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.

Work may be performed in varying environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
The wage for this role is up to $43.00 per hour, depending on experience. NICET certifications are given additional hourly compensation.
